M.A. Geography or Master of Arts in Geography is a postgraduate Geography course. It is a two years program or the course includes a comprehensive and thorough study of the physical features of the earth and of human activity. In M.A. (Geography), the focus of study is more on social science aspect of the subject i.e. on Human Geography which is an area of study that includes the built environment and how space is created, viewed and managed by humans as well as the influence humans have on the space they occupy. The Syllabus for this course is divided into four semesters. M.A. Geography course is very important and job oriented one.

M.A. History or Master of Arts in History is a postgraduate History course. History includes a comprehensive and thorough study of specialization in history of some certain time periods of cultures. The course also covers the study of major historical events that took place both in India as well as across the world. Students also are provided Research Skills and Methods, such as research, writing and presentation skills and paleography, and two additional tailored research skills courses to meet their specific research training needs. Besides of this one, students follow two specialist optional courses and linked historiographical modules to provide the intellectual, conceptual and historiographical framework for their research. M.A. in History is two years duration course and the syllabus is divided into two semesters.

M.A. (Hindi Literature)

Master of Arts in Hindi Literature

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility: Graduation or equivalent in specific field

M.A. Hindi or Master of Arts in Hindi is a postgraduate Hindi language course. In this degree course, main emphasis is given on the Hindi literature overall aspects. Hindi literature is broadly divided into four prominent forms or styles, being Bhakti (devotional – Kabir, Raskhan); Shringar (Beauty – Keshav, Bihari); Veer-Gatha (extolling brave warriors); and Adhunik (modern). The minimum duration of Master of Arts in Hindi is two years and that of maximum is five years. It may be offered by some institutes on part time basis as well. M.A. (Hindi) in a job oriented course; after its completion, the candidates can find opportunities in various spheres.
